Questions, answered
What exactly is Sumor?
A presentation tool for search firms. You build a structured candidate shortlist — profiles, CVs, comp, notice periods — and share it with your client as one secure, branded link instead of decks, PDFs, and email threads.
Who is it for?
Search consultants, recruiters, associates, and partners at search firms — boutique or global — who present shortlists to senior hiring stakeholders. Your clients (CHROs, CEOs, boards) use it too: they just open a link.
How does it work?
Create a shortlist for a client assignment, add candidates with structured fields and a CV each, preview the exact client view, then share a secure short link. Edit anytime; the same link stays current.
Do my clients need an account?
No. They open the link and review — on desktop or tablet. Optional passcode or email capture if you want a gate.
How long does setup take?
Minutes. Sign up, add your firm name and logo, create a shortlist. No implementation project, no technical knowledge, no training required.
Can I import my existing data?
You upload each candidate's CV (PDF, up to 25 MB) and fill in structured fields. There's no ATS import yet — Sumor sits alongside your existing tools rather than replacing them.
Will clients see my internal notes?
No. Recruiter notes are internal-only, and you can preview exactly what the client sees before sharing.
How secure is it?
Links are hard to guess, never publicly indexed, revocable anytime, with optional expiry and passcodes. CVs are only accessible through a valid link or your authenticated account — never public URLs. Link opens are logged.
What are the current limitations?
No ATS/CRM integrations, no PDF/slide export, no client comments or approvals, no CV parsing, and no white-label custom domains yet. The core shortlist workflow comes first; these are on the roadmap.
What happens after I click “Get started”?
You create an account and go straight into the product — no sales call. Your first shortlist can be live within minutes.
What happens to my data if I stop using Sumor?
Your CVs and candidate data stay yours. Revoke your links, and shared shortlists become inaccessible immediately. Contact us to delete your workspace data entirely.
